There are tablets available to you if you need to temporarily delay your period for whatever reasons. Our GP can give you Norethisterone to temporarily delay periods for a short amount of time.
Norethisterone works by keeping your body’s hormones levels high by mimicking the natural progesterone levels within your body. This ultimately prevents the womb lining from shedding and starting menstruation. It must be taken at least 3 days before the expected period and periods will resume within 3 days of discontinuing norethisterone.
1. Either create an account or login if you have an existing account.
2. Book an appointment to speak to on of our pharmacists
3. Our pharmacists will then talk you through your options and why you want to take it.
4. If our pharmacist approves that you can take it, they will order you a set amount of Norethisterone.
5. Once arrived at our chemist we can either deliver them directly to you or to a local chemist, or you can pick them up directly from us.
