Nurofen Plus is an over-the-counter pain relief medicine suitable for adults and adolescents aged 12 years and over.The combination of ibuprofen and codeine provides both pain-relieving and anti-inflammatory effects and may be suitable for conditions such as headaches, dental pain, period pain, back pain and muscular or rheumatic pain.
Nurofen Plus is an over-the-counter pain relief medicine suitable for adults and adolescents aged 12 years and over. It contains two active ingredients: ibuprofen 200mg, a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID), and codeine phosphate 12.8mg, an opioid analgesic.
The combination of ibuprofen and codeine provides both pain-relieving and anti-inflammatory effects and may be suitable for conditions such as headaches, dental pain, period pain, back pain and muscular or rheumatic pain.
Because Nurofen Plus contains codeine, it should only be used for a maximum of 3 days. Prolonged or excessive use can lead to dependence and other serious side effects.
If your pain does not improve or worsens after using Nurofen Plus for 3 days, stop taking the medicine and speak to your GP or another healthcare professional.
Suitable for
For adults and children aged 12 years and above.
How to use
Take 1–2 tablets with water, preferably with or after food.
Do not take medicine to make up for lost hours
Do not take more than 6 tablets in 24 hours.
Do not use Nurofen Plus for longer than 3 days.
Take as prescribed by a pharmacist.

Store below 25°C in a dry place, out of sight and reach of children.
