Walk in Appointments

  • Just pop into a participating HealthMP Pharmacy and have a chat with a member of the pharmacy team for advice.
  • Our pharmacist will ask you a few simple questions and take note of your symptoms.
  • Based on what you share, the pharmacist will guide you on the best next steps. This might include offering a prescription treatment, recommending pharmacy-only medicines (kept behind the counter), or suggesting an in-store product that could help you feel better.

  • Use the “Book now” button below to secure your spot, or feel free to walk into a participating HealthMP Pharmacy and speak with the team. Please keep in mind that appointment availability may be limited each day.

  • Need to be seen sooner? You can visit a HealthMP pharmacy without an appointment. There may be a short wait, but a pharmacist will be available to help and guide you on the most suitable next steps. This could include offering a prescription treatment, recommending pharmacy-only medicines (kept behind the counter), or suggesting an in-store product to support your recovery.

The Pharmacy First service enables us to complete episodes of care for common conditions following defined clinical pathways. This service built in collaboration with NHS Community, we are able to offer NHS prescription, order or re-order your urgent NHS medication from us.

Conditions to help you with your Symptoms

Acute otitis media – age 1 to 17.
Impetigo – age 1 and over.
Infected insect bites – age 1 and over.
Shingles – age 18 and over.
Sinusitis – age 12 and over.
Sore throat – age 5 and over.
Uncomplicated urinary tract infections; women age 16-64

Patients will be able to access these 7 clinical pathways via referral from referring organizations including: general practice, urgent and emergency care settings, NHS 111. Patients can access the service by attending or contacting the pharmacy directly without need for referral.
