How to use

• Shoulders and clothing should be covered with a towel.
• The lotion should be generously sprayed onto dry hair. Massage the lotion thoroughly onto every hair.
• Do not breathe in the spray. Prevent spray from entering the eyes.
• The lotion should be spread from root to tip. This can be done using the device provided.
• The amount of lotion required will depend on the thickness and length of the hair. Particular attention should be paid to the nape of the neck and around the ears as this is where the lice are most often found.
• After the lotion has been on for at least 10 minutes, ideally, section the hair before using the device to comb from the roots to the tips to remove the lice, cleaning the device with a tissue between combing.
• For optimal performance of Nitrid lotion, it is suggested to leave the lotion on the hair for at least 8 hours, ideally overnight. This will allow the removal of any lice that may have been missed and also any eggs that tend to adhere to the hair strongly.
• After this time, wash the hair in the normal way. A second wash may be necessary to remove all the lotion.
• The same procedure should be repeated after seven days. This will ensure lice hatched since the first treatment will be eradicated; this helps prevent a repeat infestation.
